Install Basics
While Polyurethane has minimal expansion and contraction, all products must be allowed to acclimate 48 hours minimum prior to installing.
Never leave cut edges of NextStoneâ„¢ exposed as the Polyurethane will discolor with exposure to sunlight. Use Touch Up Paint to cover cut edges.
Quality deck screws or stainless steel screws are recommended with a minimum of 6 screws per panel.
Adhesive is NOT required for installation. PL Premium Construction Adhesive is recommened if adhesive is used.
NextStoneâ„¢ panels can be installed onto any substrate including concrete and brick. Concrete screws and pre-drilled holes are recommended.
4' Metal Starter Strips are needed to begin the first course/row of panels.

Metal Building Install
When installing on metal buildings, a backer board can be used as a sold substrate to allow all screws to attach properly.
The backer board or OSB should be at minimum ½" thick. This board needs to be attached securely to the building using a construction adhesive and screws. It may be necessary to bolt the screws down to avoid the panels and/or backerboard pulling away from the corrugated siding.
Use appropriate weather proof substrate or sheathing as per local codes. Then proceed as per normal installation instructions.
